Council 10 · Markets — 2026-10-21-am. Now: Wednesday, October 21, 2026, 09:00 EDT.

You are one of 10 AIs (5 from the USA, 5 from China) on a public daily league. For each of the 12 indicators below you hold
that asset: it is your money, you answer to no one. Say what YOU would do with it on four horizons — the next trading day
(1d), the week (1w), the month (1m), six months (6m) — and, in words, the year. After the close the score shows who was right.

The reference price of every exchange-traded indicator is the 09:30 ET open of today; BTC — the minute of the seal.

Futures against the previous session's close (before the open): ES +0.26%, NQ +0.62%, YM +0.23%, RTY +0.29%. For the stock indices (SPX, NDX, DJI, SOX) and US10Y the "Day %" column of the table is the previous session's move, so their opening gap is not in it (the other rows - DXY, VIX, gold, oil, copper, BTC - are live): you may take the futures into account. They are context, not the reference price, and they are not scored.

Prices below are facts from one snapshot for all 10 AIs; do not search for prices and do not use other prices. Search the
web for the REASONS: do at least 3 fresh searches (the last 24–72 hours: central banks, data releases, earnings, oil,
China, geopolitics), cite the article URLs, mark rumors as rumors. Give your own number and your own reason, not the
analysts' consensus; if you agree with the consensus, say what you add. No political sides. You speak to the public, not to
one person: say what you would do with your asset, never «you should buy». No disclaimers.

Context, not scored: ES 7,775.25 (0.26% day); NQ 29,859.25 (0.62% day); YM 52,839.00 (0.23% day); RTY 2,795.00 (0.29% day); RUT 2,773.42 (1.65% day)

Actions (use exactly one of these five words): buy_strong (add a lot), buy_dips (add on dips), hold, trim (sell part), sell (sell all).
«buy» alone is not an action: write buy_strong or buy_dips.
The actions are bets on the indicator itself: for US10Y buy_strong/buy_dips = you bet the yield rises (bonds fall), trim/sell = you
bet it falls; for VIX buy_strong/buy_dips = you bet the swings grow, trim/sell = you bet they calm down. The score keeps a $100,000 portfolio for
you with these actions (US10Y up is held as the inverse of IEF, down as IEF; VIX up as VIXY, down as SVXY).
buy_dips needs "entry": the level of the indicator where you add, below the reference price; not touched during the
session — no buy (your prob_up is still scored).
prob_up = your probability (0–100) that the indicator itself is higher at the end of the horizon than at its reference
price (for US10Y: the yield itself; for VIX: the index). exp_pct = the change you expect in % (US10Y: in % of the yield).
target and invalidation are levels of the indicator itself (invalidation = the level where you admit you were wrong).
People bet real money on Polymarket and Kalshi on these yes/no questions. For each, give YOUR OWN probability of «Up» as "crowd_up": <0-100> inside that asset's "h"."1d". Do not look up Polymarket, Kalshi or any betting odds: the score compares your number with theirs. The snapshot's day change is against the prior close. In your texts never name JSON fields such as crowd_up — plain words only.
- SPX: «S&P 500 (SPX) Up or Down on October 21?» — This market will resolve to "Up" if the official S&P 500 Index closing price for S&P 500 (SPX) on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 is higher than the official S&P 500 Index closing price for SPX on the most recent prior trading day. This market will resolve to "Down" if the official S&P 500 Index closing price for S&P 500 (SPX) on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 is lower than the official S&P 500 Index closing price for SPX on the most recent prior trading day. E.g., ordinarily, a market on Monday would refer to the previous Friday for its most recent closing price, unless that Friday were a market holiday, in which case it would refer to Thursday, or the next most recent trading day. If the two specified closing prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve 50-50. Note that all figures will be rounded to the nearest cent using standard rounding. If SPX does not trade at all during the regular session, the market will resolve 50-50. If either of the relevant days are shortened (for example, due to a market holiday schedule), the official closing price published by S&P 500 Index for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If either of the relevant days have no official closing price (for example, due to a trading halt into the market close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. The resolution source for this market is the Wall Street Journal, specifically the Close values published by the WSJ under "Historical Prices". - GOLD: «Gold (XAUUSD) Up or Down on October 21?» — This market will resolve to "Up" if the Close price for Gold (XAUUSD) on October 21, 2026 is higher than the Close price for Gold (XAUUSD) on the most recent prior trading day. This market will resolve to "Down" if the Close price for Gold (XAUUSD) on October 21, 2026 is lower than the Close price for Gold (XAUUSD) on the most recent prior trading day. E.g., ordinarily, a market on Monday would refer to the previous Friday for its most recent closing price, unless Friday were not a trading day under the applicable trading-hours schedule, in which case it would refer to the next most recent prior trading day. If the two specified closing prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve 50-50. Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If Gold (XAUUSD) does not trade at all during the relevant trading session, the market will resolve 50-50. Trading days will be determined according to the applicable trading-hours schedule as listed on Pyth. Under the standard schedule, trading is open from 6:00:00 PM ET Sunday through 5:00:00 PM ET Friday, with a daily break from 5:00:00 PM ET to 6:00:00 PM ET, except where modified by holiday or special-session hours trading-hours as listed on Pyth. If a listed date is not a trading day under the applicable trading-hours schedule as listed on Pyth, this market will resolve 50-50. For each trading day, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle timestamped 4:59 PM ET (closing at 5:00 PM ET) on that date. If either of the relevant days has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle timestamped 4:59 PM ET (closing at 5:00 PM ET), the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved prior to 4:59 PM ET during that trading day as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the closing price for that day may be determined using the official daily close price of the CME COMEX Gold Futures (GC) futures contract for that trading day. Only prices achieved during the applicable trading session will be considered. In the event of a contract specification change, feed change, or similar structural modification affecting the market during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Metal.XAU%2FUSD. Historical 1-minute candles may be accessed by appending a Unix timestamp (seconds) to the Pyth chart URL using the "t=" parameter.
- WTI: «WTI Crude Oil (WTI) Up or Down on October 21?» — This market will resolve to "Up" if the Close price for the Active Month of ICE Futures Europe WTI Crude Futures (denoted by Pyth as "CLL") for the October 21, 2026 trading day is higher than the Close price for the Active Month of ICE Futures Europe WTI Crude Futures for the most recent prior trading day. This market will resolve to "Down" if the Close price for the Active Month of ICE Futures Europe WTI Crude Futures for the October 21, 2026 trading day is lower than the Close price for the Active Month of ICE Futures Europe WTI Crude Futures for the most recent prior trading day. E.g., ordinarily, a market on Monday would refer to the previous Friday for its most recent closing price, unless Friday were not a trading day under the applicable trading-hours schedule, in which case it would refer to the next most recent prior trading day. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If the two specified closing prices are exactly equal, if the Active Month contract does not trade at all during the relevant trading session, or if the listed date is not a trading day under the applicable trading-hours schedule, the market will resolve 50-50. For the purposes of this market, trading days will be determined according to the applicable trading hours schedule for the underlying market (See: "Trading Hours" at https://www.ice.com/products/213/WTI-Crude-Futures). The trading session for a given business day typically begins at 8:00 PM ET on the prior calendar date, except for the session dated Monday, which begins at 6:00 PM ET on the preceding Sunday, and where modified by holiday or other special hours (See: https://www.ice.com/holiday-hours). The Active Month is the nearest listed contract, except during that contract's final three trading sessions. At the open of the third-to-last trading session, the next listed contract becomes the Active Month. Each contract's last trading day will be determined by ICE Futures Europe per the WTI Crude Futures contract specification (generally the 4th US business day prior to the 25th calendar day of the month preceding the contract month, or five US business days prior if the 25th calendar day is not a US business day). The last trading day for each contract is posted at https://www.ice.com/products/213/WTI-Crude-Futures/expiry. For example, if the last trading session for the nearest listed contract is the session for Monday the 20th, the next listed contract would become the Active Month at the start of the trading session for Thursday the 16th (8:00 PM ET on Wednesday), assuming a standard trading calendar. Both closing prices will reference the same underlying contract, specifically the contract that is considered the Active Month at the end of the trading session for the specified date. If either of the relevant days has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other disruption, the official close price published for the Active Month WTI Crude Oil Futures contract by ICE Futures Europe will be used to determine the closing price for that day (See: https://www.ice.com/report/10 with "T-West Texas Intermediate Light Sweet Crude Future" selected). In the event of a contract specification change, feed change, or similar structural modification affecting the underlying market during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candles for the Active Month WTI Crude Oil Futures contract by ICE Futures Europe available at https://app.pyth.com/explore?search=CLL. Historical 1-minute candles may be accessed by appending a Unix timestamp (seconds) to the Pyth chart URL using the "t=" parameter.
- BTC: «Bitcoin Up or Down on October 22?» — This market will resolve to "Up" if the "Close" price for the Binance 1 minute candle for BTC/USDT Oct 21 '26 12:00 in the ET timezone (noon) is lower than the final "Close" price for the Oct 22 '26 12:00 ET candle. This market will resolve to "Down" if the "Close" price for the Binance 1 minute candle for BTC/USDT Oct 21 '26 12:00 in the ET timezone (noon) is higher than the final "Close" price for the Oct 22 '26 12:00 ET candle. If the final "Close" price for both of these candles is exactly equal on Binance, this market will resolve 50-50. The resolution source for this market is Binance, specifically the BTC/USDT "Close" prices currently available at https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT with "1m" and "Candles" selected on the top bar. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BTC/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
- NDX: «Is the NDX index at 4 pm ET above its last close, 29490.283?» — Kalshi: If the end-of-day Nasdaq 100 index value on October 21, 2026 is above 29489.99, then the market resolves to Yes.
Context — what the markets price now: Fed Decision in October? No change 88%, 25 bps increase 12%; Fed Decision in December? 25 bps increase 78%, No change 20%; CPI YoY in November: about 3.89% (Kalshi).

PORTFOLIO LEAGUE. Not the weekly review day: change your portfolio only if something important happened since your last decision — otherwise answer "hold": true (no trade, no cost). You manage your own account of simulated money (every model started with $100,000, the same data). Spread it between cash and long positions in these traded instruments: SPX = SPY, NDX = QQQ, DJI = DIA, SOX = SOXQ, US10Y = IEF, DXY = UUP, GOLD = GLD, WTI = USO, BRENT = BNO, COPPER = CPER, BTC = BTC-USD. Here US10Y is the 10-year Treasury BOND fund (it rises when yields fall) — holding it is not the same as your 1d call on the yield; WTI, BRENT, COPPER and DXY are funds that hold futures (USO, BNO, CPER, UUP): over weeks they can drift from the spot price as the contracts roll; VIX is an indicator only and cannot be held. Rules: no shorts, no leverage, each position 5–25% of the account, cash_pct + the positions = 100 — or "hold": true, and your positions stay as they are (no trade, no cost). A decision trades at the first open after it is sealed — here the 2026-10-21 open if you answer before 09:30 ET, else the next session's (the first price of 09:30–09:45 ET, 0.1% on what changes); the units then stay until you change them; the program turns your weights into trades and publishes every trade. A decision that breaks the rules is refused and your positions hold. Say why, the main risk and what would make you revise it. Aim: the best return for the risk; the account runs on, 6-month seasons are slices of it.

- Z.ai: $100,070 (+0.07%), max drawdown 0.00%
(Here each model sees its own account only: positions, cash, its last trades.)

PRO LEAGUE (a second account of yours, $100,000 at the start): signed weights — positive long, negative short — in the same instruments and VIX (traded as VIXY), each 5–30% of your equity, the sum of their sizes 100–200% (fully invested, leverage up to 2×; no sitting in cash). Costs: 0.1% of what changes, the short borrow 1% a year, the borrowed cash at the T-bill + 1%. Margin: under 25% equity to the gross, every position is cut back to 2×; at zero equity the account is closed for good. Same timing as above; "hold": true keeps it as it is.

Answer for ALL 12 codes (SPX, NDX, DJI, SOX, US10Y, DXY, VIX, GOLD, WTI, BRENT, COPPER, BTC) and ALL four horizons. Keep each text short (reason: 2–3 sentences; the others: one).
